| ARCHERY FACILITIES The club provides five warm-up/sight-in/practice targets placed at 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 yards There is also a 15-target course available spring through fall with a variety of 3-D McKenzie targets along a half-mile trail. Excepting scheduled events club membership is required to use these facilities. The range fee is $5 ($2 for age 13-15 and no fee age 12 and under). 14TH ANNUAL IBO NH STATE 3-D CHAMPIONSHIP & WORLD QUALIFIER: On Sat/Sun, June 30/July 1, 2012 the Pemi will again host the annual IBO NH State 3-D Championship shoot. This shoot is also recognized by IBO as a World Qualifier in which participants can qualify to attend the World Championships in Seven Springs, PA on Aug 8-11, 2012. The shoot is open to all archers with all IBO rules applying and all classes recognized. There will be two rounds of 3-D targets, mostly McKenzie, and one may shoot all on either day or choose to shoot 15 each day. Each will have two different rounds of McKenzie 3-D targets in hunting situations, maximum 35 yards. There will be at least 18 targets presented on each round and you decide which ones to skip to get your 15 scores ........ but you can't go back, the decision to skip a target is final! NO BINOCULARS OR RANGE FINDERS! Shooter groups should be able to move through fast and make it FAMILY FRIENDLY! “A SHOOT THAT WILL BE AS LAID BACK OR CHALLENGING AS YOU WANT IT TO BE -- A RELAXING AND FUN TIME FOR ALL AGES!” Divisions for adults, age 10-15, and for age 9 and younger. Recurve and compound classes. Also, a CHALLENGE CLASS where distances and difficulty is left to the diabolical whim of the match director! At least two interesting side shoots. Registration will be from 7:00 ‘til 11:00. Adults $15, two in a family $25, youth $10, family maximum, $25, 9 and under no fee. Assistance in set-up will be greatly appreciated! Holderness Recreation frequently hosts a series of archery lessons at the Pemi club facilities, taught by well-known instructor Mike Bolduc, a NFAA Level III Instructor and Community Coach from Archery in Motion, LLC. All equipment is provided, or bring your own bow. Open to ALL area residents. Certification of successful completion of a course is required to obtain a bowhunting license in NH and many other states. The 2012 course will be held Friday evenings, August 3 and 10, and all day Saturday, August 11 at the clubhouse at 295 Beede Road. All sessions must be attended for certification.
